Event Description:
Swingin' D Horse Rescue in Coweta is hosting a Community Fair Saturday, Oct. 8 featuring good, clean, family fun. There will be children's activities, games and prizes, live music, shopping, food and a chance to meet horses saved from the slaughter pipeline.
Adults can also enjoy a variety of foods from local vendors, a giant yard sale, shopping with local businesses and play cornhole and horseshoe games. Kids will enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, sack races, a bean bag toss, ring toss and a chance to meet real cowboys.
There will be raffle items, auction items and much more. Proceeds will help the non-profit organization save horses from the slaughter pipeline, nurse them back to health and prepare them for productive futures with responsible adopters.
