This workshop will take you through many steps of business ownership. You will learn the types of business structures and advantages and disadvantages of each; what permits and licenses are required and how to obtain them; and reporting procedures for taxes.

Writing a business plan may seem a monumental task, but at this workshop you’ll learn what goes in a plan, how to present the plan and how it can help get a business off the ground and growing.

In addition, gain insight from experts and learn what lenders think is important in getting small business financing. Discover how to approach a lender, what is expected of the borrower and what steps need to be done in advance of seeking financing.
